My next door has got a heritage building that is abt 9.2 m width. Their house is too close to each side and setback is less than 40 cm. They failed to get council approval but now it has approved without any adjustment of the building. I wrote general inquiry to Brisbane council but don't know what to do. Their construction will start tomorrow. My general knowledge is setback can be narrow as 1 m with relaxation. But 40 cm is ridiculous.
