Who is going to look after the consumers who purchase these properties when things go horribly wrong in the next few years or earlier?
These houses, plus many more on this block have been under construction for the past 12 months. They sat idle for approx 8 months with their roof on and absolutely no protection against the elements. Where are the temporary downpipes?
These properties are built on highly reactive soils.
These properties will be sold and then over the next few years we will see these unsuspecting consumers on this site finding solutions for their slab heave? The lawyers will be rubbing their hands together.
Where is the care factor from the builders? Where is the VBA? It is a disgrace.
BTW for those who are not aware, building on reactive soil sites require downpipes are to be connected as soon as roof is put on.
