Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Mar 01, 2016 10:14 pm I've had a bit of a search and couldnt seem to find this question asked before. We've just been invoiced for the completion of the roofing on our new build here in Perth. In two places it appears rather than the metal gutter there is just some timber tacked on? Is that standard practice on short edges? It isn't even flush with the rest of the fascia. Having no experience with fascia I'd love some input on: 1. Is it normal to have a wooden fascia where the rest appears to be gutters and wholly metal? 2. Is it normal for it to not be flush with the rest of the fascia?
