That's funny, TDL.
I still remember DH saying in this calm, soothing voice - well. he thought it was, as he'd been told to do in pre-natal classes- more like a smarmy robot, very irritating "Breathe, Helen, don't forget to breathe"
- lost my temper and shouted
"Shut up!! I am f**** breathing!! If I wasn't f****** breathing, I'd be f***** dead
He sat quietly saying nothing thru births of the next two
oh that is sooooo funny
joles
Yeah htb, the best ones for other people!!
Maybe you should start a thread and I might share some of it.
I'm conscious that some people may be eating.
I hope Ron and Bon have their daughter in their arms already, we may freak them out.

Yeah I know, sorry Jo. I do feel very sad for the Mum's who have to go through that. Then it sh*ts me to hear from the Dad's how tough they did it I realise the guys feel like they want to help their partner but can't but they don't need to comment on it. (that comment might start a war of the words!)
I remember visiting a friend/neighbour the morning after their delivery and he was laying on their bed (think he was somewhat traumatised) and said that was the worst thing he'd ever been through. Made me wonder how bad it was for his poor wife!
Yeah hope Ron and Bon do have their daughter by now. Wonder if her name will rhyme too
