Introductions Please!

Good to hear your building with Metricon. We built our 1st home 6 years ago thru them and are looking at the Nelson (2nd home as kids growing)as their is an option to have a guest room down as well. Is yours built and finshed? Were you happy with the End product and did you take any options such as pool or outdoor room etc I also liked the liberty as it was slightly smaller but no display in Vic only NSW.

Thanks for the welcome. I am looking to build again for the second time and just getting some general ideas on homes by Metricon who was my first builder and did a good job.
So this website will help me get to iunderstand some issues faced by real life customers etc Fantastic website and good on you for starting the project.

We purchased and moved into a 4 year old Metricon home in Point Cook just a few weeks ago. Loving the neighbourhood and now it's time to decorate! I'm hoping to get some good advice and tips here.

You know what, in all my ignorance, I've bumbled my way through this excellent forum without evening introducing myself. A bit like gate-crashing and drinking all your beer then leaving...kissing your wife and kicking your dog, or is that kissing your dog and kicking your wife.

Anyway, a few fine pedigree chums already know me via my threads with either a Mernda/Doreen flavour, or with the Henley Monterey slant. Have the land....or rather paid the deposit in/at 'Mitchell's Run' Stage 14A. Title settlement is next year, then it's the home.

Anyhoo, to all and sundry I say 'hello' and thanks for having me.

Hey there folks

Thought I should introduce myself before asking for advice >.>

Wife and I own an old Home's West house here in WA and are working on renovating it for ourselves and so its safe for my stepson and our future kids, and our cats! Abit of a project since its not been well loved since it left Home's West care.. Garden was trashed by previous occupants and they appear to have been doing ** DIY jobs here and there.

First time either of us have done anything like this, so I may be asking alot of annoying questions in the future!
