A really really new homeowner

Hi there,

My name is Tahnee and my partner and I have just bought our very first house! I'm in far far western NSW, living in a town called Cobar.

I'm a journalist at the local newspaper and my partner David works in one of the local mines.

We're both young ones - I'm 21 and he's 24.

We are hoping to do a few small things to our new house, to put our stamp on it. Its about 30 years old and has only had one owner, so some parts (eg the 80's kitchen with ornage benchtops) are a little outdated.

hey guys, i'm also new to this forum, what i have learned so far has very helpful. The thing is in the game of building/renovating you will come across many obstacles along the way, many answers and suggestions can be be found right here. I'm from brisbane and have a couple of properties, i like the idea of being able to exchange ideas with a variety of people. Good luck with your house guys, and congrats on getting out of the rent trap at a young age, good to see.
