I just joined yesterday... i wish i knew about this forum earlier... We have just built our second house in Perth's northern suburbs. First house we built in 2005 went smoothly and we were in the home within 11 months of signing up... this house has been a very slow & consuming process & once we gets keys it will be coming up to 17 months from signing up!!!!
We hopefully (fingers crossed) get our keys on Friday!!!!
We still have lots ahead of us... timber floors, garden, finishing off alfresco... shed...
I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help with any tips or ideas on how to make transition to new house smoothly...
By the way i am still undecided on colours to paint the interior ( i've only had almost 18 months!!) but hey.. why rush these things...
My kitchen is antique white white essa stone bench top colour is platinum (off white with beige & green speckles).. floors will be Kempas (which is lighter than Jarrah) I am trying to stick to neutral but i don't want white or off white!!!
Carpet is a mid brown colour (not chocolate)... any help would be appreciated!!
FYI we are a family of 5 - mum, dad, 2 boys & a girl 7,6, & almost 3!!..
