Hello!
newbie here with no building experience!!
I am looking at buying a first home (a queenslander) and in my price bracket there's a lot that need some work but it's hard to work out what will be a budget killer and what's possible to live with.
One place (2 bed one bath, sleepout) looks great with VJ's, no asbestos, and seems pretty solid but has an uneven wooden floor - you can feel it when you walk but there are no creaks or actual movement or cracks or spaces between boards. The stumps underneath are square concrete and look pretty new/clean?! Also the doors and deck additions don't sit quite flush but seem really sturdy underfoot. Do you think this is a real issue?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
