Hi All,
My sister and I have just had settlement go through on a small battleaxe block in Kenwick. It's my second home, but first time building and it's my sisters first time for everything
We have six months to choose a builder and I think we're going to need every second We've been speaking to Domain Homes and the salesman seems quite eager but we also want to look at Redink, Scott Park and Blueprint. So if anyone has any feed back for any of these builders that would be great.
We've been looking into other flooring options as well. Neither of us like carpet (too dirty - we still have horror flashbacks to our folks carpet being ripped up and the dust trapped underneath and our Mum's a clean freak ), we're not too keen on tiles (although we will if we have to ) and although we love the look of wood, we know that with my daughter it'd get damaged). My sister was really sold on the idea of polished concrete but as it really needs to get done before building I'm not overly keen, plus I really haven't seen any that I've loved the look of. I did find an epoxy coating from AAA Sexy Floors which I really like as we can have almost any design/colour that we can imagine and it's only $95/m2 including supply, laying and design. If anyone has had this or dealt with AAA in WA it'd be really great to hear.
There's so many decisions to make, so many arguments to have.... I can't wait!!
