Building in Sandarra! 23Oct 24, 2009 10:42 pm Hello Neighbours, We are in release 16. Pretty new release titling in April. Not sure about it though. But looking at the progress of work in earlier stages, I am bit optimestic towards it. Any one here in release 16? Re: Hi! Building in Sandarra! 24Oct 25, 2009 9:42 am I just received an email about the Sandarra family fun day. It is a "kids potting day". The kids get to paint a pot and put some flowers in it. There is a sausage sizzle, face painting and a worm race. Anyway I got the email from Trudi (the sales manager at Sandarra). It is on Nov.1st. Just thought I'd post it for those interested in going. Re: Hi! Building in Sandarra! 25Nov 06, 2009 10:47 am Hi guys, just though I would let you know that the roads in Tarcoola way (release 12) now have progress! There is some crushed rock laid down on the street, they have started digging out drains too! Malula Circuit looks to be getting it's street lights soon also. They're all laid out on the ground ready to go up. (this was on the weekend.) I will post another update for you guys next week as I plan to drive past there on Sunday after horse riding.... Building in Sandarra! 26Nov 08, 2009 12:39 pm Hi guys, Stopped by again yesterday and took a few pics around the place. The remainder of the excavated soil that was piled up around the place is still being removed. Not a whole lot of movement from what I could see in comparison to last week, the road base appears to be down. Here's a quick pano taken from the side of wedge rd. Building in Sandarra! 27Feb 09, 2010 2:25 pm Just received an initial write up for my home from Burbank and it would seem to me that the quoted cost of $2850 for “ Provide internal wiring only and conduit to street (Fibre Estates – Sandhurst) client’s further connection to Estate’s fibre optic network . Note: Client is responsible for connection to the network through its service provider and associated costs” is quite excessive. Can anyone else advise me the costs they have been quoted for this electrical work please????? Thanks, Angie. Re: Hi! Building in Sandarra! 28Feb 09, 2010 3:51 pm Hi Angie, That sounds about right, it should include the cost of the conduit, the wired services cabinet, the network terminator, a double power point and minimum wiring within the house for 1 telephone and 1 data point. Read section 17 of the design guidelines/covenant pages 13 onwards http://www.sandarra.com.au/assets/3477_sandarradesignguide_jan2010_web.pdf They're charging you for the provision of the 'mandatory' requirements only. May be worth comfirming with your builder exactly what they are providing and whether it matches the requirements as stated. PS-kbudgie, think i saw your frames, going along great!! Re: Hi! Building in Sandarra! 33Sep 28, 2011 5:13 pm Hi all, new to the group and we're building along Sandarra Blvd. We're close to completion and I'm wondering if someone might be able to advise whether apart from the A3 plans I got with the contract, the builder should be providing any detailed as-built plans at handover. I imagine they would have detailed plans for the purpose of construction, like plans showing the electrical wiring in detail, but the builder says all I've got is all I'll get. |
