Cheers Re: Can anyone recommend a good removalist....? 2Aug 21, 2010 8:57 am Perhaps give Big Box Storage a call in Labrador, they have a number of removalists operating out of there. I stored our stuff there when we moved up from Sydney to the Coast. I will say DO NOT use Palm Beach/Currumbin removals.. we used them to move down.. no worries.. but when we moved back 18mths later.. They trashed our entertainment unit (used it as a trolley to move 140kgs of gym weights DUH!!!!) , dinged my surfboard, scratched up our coffee table, lost some things. in attempts to rectify the problem we got no contact, no co operation. Best of luck with your move. hope that helps you a little bit. Re: Can anyone recommend a good removalist....? 3Aug 22, 2010 10:39 am from memory we used toll logistics to move from perth to melb, they were the cheapest and most prompt Da Vinci Outdoor Living Architectural landscaping http://www.davincioutdoor.com Re: Can anyone recommend a good removalist....? 4Aug 23, 2010 8:49 am Thanks.... I will give both a call and see how i go! Thanks for the tip 'the renovators' will make sure i do not use Palm Beach/Currumbin removals ~ what a nightmare they sound like! Re: Can anyone recommend a good removalist....? 5Aug 24, 2010 9:51 pm We moved from Brisbane to Victoria a couple of months ago, and our removalist was wonderful, and couldnt fault him. His details are Andrew Young of Leader Removals. 0417 010 708. I think he is based in Canberra, and i know he often does a bris-syd-melb run. Good Luck with your move 1 375 9 24793 Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 7284 |
