Browse Forums Feng Shui 1 Nov 24, 2016 1:38 pm Hi, I'm about to move in to my new apartment and start furnishing the place and wondering what you guys think about my layout? The TV entertainment area feels nice and cozy but a lot of people I ask think this kind of layout, would make my apartment very cramped and small. For me, I like it because it segments the room very nice and cosy. The TV entertainment has it's clear boundary, albeit a bit small and tight, and so does the dining area. One other concern if I do this, would it block the flow of chi flowing through the room? Also the armchair and side table section is just an idea, not sure if I'll end up doing that. If not, I'll probably put a console table there with some nice decorations. If your living was next to the balcony * distance from sofa to tv is better * coffee table places better * good light from sloding doors * dining area is spacious for guests and you can surround it with your artwork. It will still feel like you have seperate spaces and traffic area is better as you won't need to walk around the sofa. Just my suggestions~~ At the end of the day you could just move things about until your happy with it when you move in. Congrats & happy decorating~~ Hello!
