Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Sep 30, 2008 11:30 pm Hello, everybody. My name is Bryan Zhu, and I doing marketing for extrusion toolings business. And I am quit confuse that I cannot found many PVC profiles manufacturers in Australia, even on some official website like AWA.
There are some clients I already have, but I wondering why there is not so popular the PVC profiles using in Australia. Appreciate if someone can tell me and bring me some information. Bryan D Zhu Re: Say Hello, and a question about PVC profile. 2Oct 01, 2008 9:20 pm No uPVC window profiles are manufactured in Australia. The local PVC window producers use the stuff imported from Europe. PVC windows are marginal here, very expensive and the market for them is tiny.

From my point of view, the higher costs resulted from importing materials. Import profiles from European will keep the price at the certain level, rather than just make them locally. If some Oz manufaturer can start to produce uPVC profiles, that will benefits Oz people by lower the costs.
Whats your opinion, kristofw?
