More generally, do you think that choosing a window based on the WERS Ai rating is a good metric? As a potential purchaser of your windows, I also hoped you might be able to clarify why the EcoEco casements score 5 in the WERS database? Based on your reply, I would expect that they score 0.2 like the Awning. https://awawers.net/res/reslist/ECOECO Welcome. The casement was not separately tested, so it defaults to 5 and yet it uses the same profiles and seals.. The awning tested at 0.15, I have no idea why they rounded it up because others use 2 decimal places, and the awning has appeared in WERS at 0.15. There really is not a good reason to select based upon the air infiltration alone, the star rating and the software using these data are comprehensive and include the air infiltration. You can see this in identical Uw where the stars vary. "ECOECO" At 'EcoEco', we design windows, we design the best windows, we do it for you, so that when you’re happy we are happy.
