Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Dec 02, 2018 10:22 am Hi guys, My house has casement / awning windows and I am trying to take a couple out. They all have a sliding hinge on the sides, like pictured. Is there an easy what to 'pop' these windows out? Or do I have to remove the 4 screws to remove the whole mechanism from the frame? Unfortunately you need to remove all the screws from the frame to remove the sash. It's a bit of a pain and is easiest with two people.
