Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Nov 14, 2018 9:07 pm My home is in framing stage (Metricon double story). Ceiling height for upper level is 2550. Some of the bedroom windows measurements are 10-18 in the plan. When I looked at the framing today they seem to be too high from floor. It looks like they are aligned with ceiling. Is it correct? Are there any standards or it just their discretion? I am really worried looking at the frame and how high they are..framing is still in process..not sure if something can be done..any help greatly appreciated. This happened mainly to two bed rooms in the rear side where windows look out into backyard. Re: Window height in upper level -looks like stuffed up 2Nov 14, 2018 10:02 pm That's normal, we had to pay a bit extra to have our windows dropped 185mm Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 7271 2 803 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11577 |
