Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Mar 19, 2018 2:18 pm Hi all, Looking forward to see some idea around the doors for the theater under carlislehomes Piermont 29. By default there is no door for theater. Size of the room is 4.4m wide * 3.7m long ( Piermont 29 - http://www.carlislehomes.com.au/home-designs/piermont/ ) Please share if you have gone through similar kind of doors. Also, for alfresco planning for a stacking door and what else I need to think from T-Range house perspective. It would be great if anyone is able to share the upgrade cost anything that you can think of the standard inclusions in a carlislehomes T-Range house Regards, Shi Re: type of door for theater room 2Mar 20, 2018 9:35 am I’m not buying with your builder but my plans had two openings to the media with no doors which I wasn’t happy about. I had asked to put one door in but the consultant said I’d need double doors to fit lounges etc in so we went with double doors If I had more money I would have gone for double cavity sliding doors but they were rather pricey. I had asked about nice doors with glass in them but was also told to avoid this if we planned on playing loud music or movies as the glass would rattle. It was $400 with my builder for double doors viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89059 Re: type of door for theater room 3Mar 20, 2018 7:23 pm aphsta I’m not buying with your builder but my plans had two openings to the media with no doors which I wasn’t happy about.
