The external frame holding the glass is also metal. Has anyone seen this type of window and able to offer advice on how the metal beading would come out to allow the glass to be removed? It's not as simple as it looks... or maybe it is and I'm missing something. There's plenty of silicone around the glass, I'm interested in how the metal frame part goes together (or more to the point comes apart). I tried removing the bolts and cutting the silicone, I thought the metal frame would just come out, but it won't budge. I feel like there must be a way to remove the glass without breaking it... just reverse how it went together, but I can't work out how to it went together. thanks in advance for any information 2 2326 How do you remove one of these ceiling air con vents? And is it possible to disconnect the duct joined to the vent from inside the house, without going into the roof cavity? 0 5947 |
