Now the builders say out of good gesture he will add support?? Surely builders speak for admission of fault. What do you think? Its overhanging by 150mm.

Id like to get some opinions on these pics of my sliding door on a new build on the sunshine coast.
The building inspector flagged it as being unsupported which i have to agree looking at it. Builder fought me saying the inspector doesnt know what hes talking about. Now the builders say out of good gesture he will add support?? Surely builders speak for admission of fault. What do you think? Its overhanging by 150mm.

I have no actual building knowledge but if I saw that on my house I’d be **! I’ve never seen any door frame just jutting out in midair.
