Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Nov 17, 2017 9:41 pm Many years ago I lived in the US and the house I lived in had Dutch Doors (like stable doors where the bottom half can remain closed and the top half open) in some of the areas. I love open doors in my house, but I also have dogs and would love a way of closing off their access to certain rooms without closing the rooms up completely. Until now, I have been using baby gates all around the house, but now that I'm renovating, I would love to have these dutch doors in the bedrooms and laundry to stop the dogs getting into some rooms when I don't want them in there. I have yet to find an Australian supplier that makes these. Does anyone know of a supplier that makes these style doors, or is it something I will have to hire a builder to convert from a standard door for me? That said, a solid door should be easily converted for a price, and obviously there will be additional cost because of the additional hardware required.
