Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Aug 01, 2017 3:46 am Hi Experts, I'm still planning to replace the 'external door' - laundry, garage-living and sliding door after handover due to my mistakes on the plan, that i didnt look carefully.. ceiling height of the house is 2790, all internal doors are 2340 except those 3 mentioned are on the standard height of 2100.. Wondering what the cost will be, and will it be possible/advisable ? Thanks Re: Replacing door costs (after handover) 2Aug 01, 2017 8:57 am External door height generally matches outside window height, ours is like that, all internals are 2340,outside doors are lower to match height of windows. It's a fair bit of work to change outside door heights, would involve, chippy, new doors, painting, etc, and doors would look not right against windows. Re: Replacing door costs (after handover) 3Aug 01, 2017 9:30 am thanks for your response, i've have a look at the plan again, and yes, you are right, the height of the external doors are aligned with the windows so i guess i just need to leave it as it is..
