The door frame for a cavity slider is totally different to a standard door frame (standard door has hinges, cavity sliding door has overhead rollers).
You will need to build a cavity for the 'cavity' sliding door, which will entail building a second wall. Consequently this second wall will eat into the adjacent room area. Good luck with it.
