Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Apr 13, 2017 10:47 am So we have a weatherboard house we've just relocated to our property and we're now fixing up. Today's problem is, the bathroom and toilet windows have vents at the top for air flow which are getting rain through them in strong winds. Which happens often where we are. Any cost effective ideas how to give them shelter other than full size awnings as I'm really hoping to spare that expense? We're in country WA so online links for places I can buy the suggested products would be much appreciated too! Re: Water coming in wet area window vents - help!!! 2Apr 13, 2017 8:52 pm I remember my parents 60's house used to have windows with mesh strips across the top. They had little metal awnings just covering the mesh part of the window. Wouldn't be hard to knock something up. A Sabco spin mop, minimal moisture, not very regularly. I was told these hybrids are water resistant 🤷♀️ 2 7639 retail its around double the price of a similar sized actron/dakin system from memory, They are excellent systems though. But with how builder gouge on AC/heating, you… 4 13773 Get some long brass machine screws and bolt right through the gate and put brass acorn nuts and washers on the other side.
