We have looked at and had a quote for windows designed here and built in China. They appear to be good quality and $$$ cheaper than anything made here. They are not thermally broken, so I would be using lighter coloured Aluminium (Silver). Has anyone used windows from China? Most are not tested for Australia, ISO standard is not good enough, Australia's standards are tighter. So they may not be compliant. We manufacture in China, design here, test here. Our window is number 1 for energy efficiency in aluminium in Australia. And it beats the performance of many thermally broken windows. Better design beats ordinary thermal break windows. Some Chinese windows are good quality, some are not, and you can't call the service man to fix the problems. Just be careful...
