We are looking for information in relation to who supplies aluminium bifold Windows that meet the BAL 12.5 rating (fixed fly screens) and are double glazed. We sourced a few but there lead times are 3 months or more and we are in the middle of building and its holding up the builder. Any help would be appreciated. The general rule of thumb is that provided your doors meet the BAL standard, your bifold doors hinge out and your screens will be fitted to the inside of your home you can have retractable screens or pleated screens with standard flyscreen. Yes, that makes sense. I contacted the manufacturer; they will issue a certificate with BAL rating mentioned on it. 2 1845 I don't know them all, the first 2 top of your list are best known.
