Hi,
We moved into our current home in January. When we moved in we noticed that there is a small gap (about 3cm wide running the length of the window) in the bathroom and toilet. This gap is covered with flyscreen. So basically 95% of the frame is covered with glass and 5% is this gap. Now that the weather is getting cold (at least here in Melbourne), the toilet and bathroom are freezing. There are no window coverings on these windows but even if we did, the fact the gap is there wouldn't help anything.
Rather than replacing what's there and getting a glass pane to cover the whole window frame, I was thinking I could just place something over the top of this gap to stop the draught. I was going to just put masking tape, but is there something better I could use that would seal this completely to not let any draught/coldness through?
Thanks!
