Hi,
Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and how you got around it. Our architraves are 19mm thick and the strike plates (which are 38mm wide) don't appear to be wide enough to prevent the latch bolt striking the architrave. Pictures below:

We have tried looking around for extended strike plates and have been able to find some 50mm wide which would protect our architraves but they are all at least 70mm high and our cutout is 60mm high. We have noticed that architraves in display homes aren't as thick as ours so these were obviously the wrong strike plates for our architraves. The only solution we can see is to make the existing cutouts larger and buy all new strike plates. Has anybody else experienced this?
