Browse Forums Windows & Doors Re: Door Stops and Catchers 4Jan 20, 2016 10:14 pm What do you mean door stops? Like catches near the skirting? Most builds in WA (as far as I know) just have a little wooden square on the wall where the door handle would hit the wall behind otherwise. Our Custom Dale Alcock build in the Village at Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78620 Re: Door Stops and Catchers 5Jan 20, 2016 10:29 pm Hi Jozh, we did a KDR last year, handover was first week of Sept . Those white door stops was also what our builder was going to install as well, but since we did our own flooring our skirting boards weren't fixed at the time of handover, therefore builder wasn't able to install them. Also My builder was only providing door stops to the main front & rear doors only, but when I found out it was those ugly white plastic door stops I said no way. (We had them in the rental property & I couldn't stand them.). So When it was time to install them, after our flooring was completed, and skirting boards were fixed and painted, we ended up going to Bunnings and I sourced some nice ones there. They are called "Adoored trumpet magnetic door stops" they cost $7.25 each, a little more than the ugly white plastic ones, and they are stainless steel and they have a magnetic stopper so on windy days you can ensure your door won't slam shut and lock you out. Have look on Bunnings website there's a few different style, with the same concept. Good luck!
