Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Dec 13, 2015 10:01 am Hi All, I'm looking for a door closer for our front door - I'm thinking the gas strut type, but I really don't mind how it works. However all the door closers I've been able to find are for security doors, and so fit "inside" the door jam. As this is our front door, with no security door, I want something that goes "behind" the door. I've been to Bunnings, been to Doors Plus, and neither have any idea. Has anyone done something like this? I'd be very grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction. If my description of the problem doesn't make sense let me know. In essence I don't like coming home to find that the front door has been wide open all day because the door "bounced off" the strike as the kids left for school that day. Cheers, Dim Black on light wood does look good. Not sure if it will be as long lasting as a steel finish? 6 6349 I’m in a similar position except I’m after sliding 3 stacking doors. I am on a second-story apartment of which the balcony would not adequately fit any bi-fold or… 5 16146 Current door width is approx 2700, looking to have double doors fitted 820-820. What size does the frame need to be before door jamb? Thanks 0 3548 |
