Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Nov 05, 2015 10:04 pm Hi guys, our 1 year old home has a centurion garage door, and since new i have been complaining it seems to be struggling, and manual mode is very difficult to open. They have adjusted the spring and it is a little bit better, but still does not sound, or look like a smooth operation when opening and shutting. I had an electrician friend around the other night and we noticed the centre rail, the one the motor and chain is on is not square to the centre of the door. The two pictures are not exactly the best but the end closest to the door is off to the left and finishes more to the right as it gets to the controller. We did a rough measurement, the distance between the side rails to the centre rail up near the controller, is about a 60mm difference. Building Standards; Getting It Right!
