Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Nov 01, 2015 10:17 am Hi there, A month ago, the inside pane of my one of the ecoclassic double glazed window magically cracked, more shattered. Assume from the cold>heat>cold temprature, we had in victoria. There is a point where can see, it all started happening. The outside pane is absolutely fine. The house is 5 years old. My query is wether its covered in our builders warranty to replace it or the building insurance. How do I go about contacting someone to replace it before we go overseas in 20 days time. Also the cost obviously if its not covered with builders and if replacing from own pocket is cheaper than paying excess to home insurer. The pane is approx 200 high and approx 80 wide. Much appreciate all your help. Re: Need advise on cracked double glaze window pane 2Nov 02, 2015 2:35 pm Hi, Have a look at this.
