Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Mar 18, 2015 9:21 pm I was told by builder that we could not get double glazed sliding windows in Australia. I was surprised by this and had nothing to say. Basically I wanted to change a fixed window which is double glazed to a sliding one to allow ventilation. They could do a sliding window but not double glazed? What the? Is this true? Re: Sliding double glazed windows 5Mar 19, 2015 8:07 am Is this through A&L? We have sliding windows at the back and was told by A&L that they couldn't do double glazing to those windows. They can if you have awning windows. Maybe call them and confirm as Henley uses them for their windows. Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! The only windows we could do are Living, Master, and the Bathroom (all awnings) This would involve changing the opening panels to a double glazed unit" Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait!
