Windows & Doors

My builder has given me the option to have Carinya doors and windows in lieu of Jasons doors and windows. This includes aluminium glazed entry door, bifold servery window and 28c 3 stacker along with awning/fixed combos. Was wondering if anyone has had experiences with any of these Carinya doors and windows. I guess I'm more interested in the quality side of things but also the aesthetics of them. There are no displays in Perth.
Thanks in advance

Usually the difference between window manufacturers is not the actual frames or glass, it's the hardware: the handles, winders, locks, runners, wheels and so on. If these components are cheaply manufactured then they wear out very very quickly with sand or dirt and you have problems with having to replace the window lock or handle etc. If you can find out whether these are hard wearing and long lasting or not, you will have your answer. The second manufacturer you mentioned has very cheap components- I wouldn't recommend them.

Whilst the above it partially correct, Carinya Windows and doors are a superior product then compared to Jason's as they have been taken from a commercial market design team and slimmed down to be more affordable option to a residential market whilst still keeping quality and does not try and typically compete with them on price as they are not a low end fabricator and is a premium window system. When comparing aluminium thickness there can be a .25mm - 2mm difference in aluminium sometimes between different companies products it doesn't sound like much but over an entire frame or the sash of a window the strength of a window is increased.
I use to work for a window company that just went to Carinya a couple of years ago.
