Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Nov 24, 2014 4:42 pm G'day. I have a lovely looking set of sliding stacker doors to my outdoor area. It'd be nice to have it open, especially this time of year, but the wife freaks about insects and the like being able to freely wander inside. The whole set up is a perfect right angle, three door panels on either side (one of these being fixed, unmoveable). They meet and latch in the center where there would normally be a pillar. I've made it my mission to finally get some sort of screening solution for this door. It was provided (upon construction) by Southern Star. Would you believe, I contacted them and they have said they can't do anything. They design and provide a door but don't think of a screening solution which is utter crap. By the way, I didn't design or select any of this. The house was built by a local private builder and I bought it upon completion. There is one single track on the outside both top and bottom that is about 18mm wide. Not sure if it's for anything but would that be an option (maybe)? I've emailed around to a couple of places so far with photos and they've told me it's too hard. Surely there must be something out there! I'm almost getting to the stage of saying "stuff it" and stringing together some sort of flywire curtain or similar just to simply do the job. http://s1128.photobucket.com/user/tem_h ... 2.jpg.html http://s1128.photobucket.com/user/tem_h ... 2.jpg.html http://s1128.photobucket.com/user/tem_h ... 2.jpg.html Re: Screens for corner (pillarless) sliding doors 2Feb 16, 2015 7:53 pm BUMP I'm soon to be in a similar situation, choosing stacker doors with a cleared centre beam/pillar less look. Has anyone successfully sourced a solution for such a set up? Also, any guide on price? I'm looking at 2.4m height and approx 2.5m wide for each side. Thanks Re: Screens for corner (pillarless) sliding doors 3Feb 17, 2015 11:49 am Tem_h G'day. I have a lovely looking set of sliding stacker doors to my outdoor area.
