Hi all,
We have a less than ideal orientation. Our kids bedrooms are west facing, living areas (back of house) south facing, blind side & alfresco, east facing and master bedroom (front of house) north facing.
We are having 450mm eaves around the whole house (600mm eaves and verandah to the front).
I'm considering getting light filtering honeycomb blinds on the west facing windows plus Block out Roman Blinds from this company http://www.thethermalblindcompany.com.au.
I just wanted to know if you can see through the honeycomb blinds? Not that there will be anything interesting to look at, but I just don't want the kids bedrooms to be too dark, but I still want them to be cool in summer and warm in winter without having to pull the Romans down (besides at nightime).
Would love to hear from people who have these and their experience with them.
Also, do honeycomb blinds need dusting?? Obviously the less time I spend cleaning the better
