Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has both normal panel glides and then alongside this sunscreen panel glides too?
We have a huge sliding door - just over 7metres. We plan to build a wooden deck/patio out from these doors. BUT we are having problems with the sun coming right through almost the entire width of the room that the sliding doors is in.
We spoke to a blinds guy yesterday (outdoor) who suggested we can 1) buy a mechanical awning $12K!!!! or 2) buy sliding down blinds, but they will only attach to 4.2 m of the door as they can't go wide enough.
Then we were thinking that we were already going with panel glides for this door, is there something like a sunscreen option to put (kind of like a day blind) where you can see the view out, but blocks those rays...otherwise I will be in the sun and wearing sunglasses at breakfast every morning.
Do these sunscreen panel glides stop those rays coming through? But we could still see out?
Perhaps we could just have these without having to buy outside blinds too?
Does anyone have advice or any experience with these sunscreen panel glides
Thanks in advance.
