Filling gaps between window and house frame

Im looking for some advice on what kind of product to use for filling the gap around windows between the reveals and the house frame. I want to do this before the plaster goes on in the new house I'm building. I think it will help stop a lot of heat escaping through there and draft coming in, as the only thing that really blocks it is the architrave. Is anyone doing this in new houses?

Never seen it done but there's a first time for everything. Maybe you could get a 30mm wide foil tape and cover the gap before arcs go on.

Tear up insulation and pack it lightly or use a can of expanding foam and cut off the excess. I did the first option at my place and it works fine.

Be careful with the expanding foam, some types keep expanding and exert pressure, and may distort your jambs.
