They want to shave it, but I'm concerned once Summer comes round, the wood will contract again, and then my doors will have a gap and wind and sand will blow in. Do I just wait for Summer before sealing it? The service staff have threatened that if I delay till Summer they won't have any responsibility over the issue for some reason.
