Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 May 23, 2013 4:43 pm For a terrace house in Sydney’s inner west I need an inward-opening single front door (opens onto the footpath so can’t have outward opening) that provides light, ventilation, and keeps bugs and the weather out when needed. A security screen door with an opening glass panel on the inside would be perfect however such an animal doesn’t seem to exist, or is very hard to find. The security screen would provide security and the glass panel would provide light. The opening panel would provide ventilation or keep the weather out depending on the time of year. Can anyone help? Or suggest an alternative? Thanks Re: Combo security front door with opening glass panel 2Jun 07, 2013 9:20 pm There's a couple of places that make a glass door with a iron frame & wrought iron design in front of the glass, and on the better ones the glass is like a door on a door so it opens to allow ventilation etc, but the opening has the wrought iron for security and flyscreen for flies. Only thing is they are about $5000. If that sounds like what you want & you'd pay that much I'll dig out the company name for you later.
