Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Apr 24, 2013 5:41 pm Just wondering where everyone got their cheapest blind quotes in Perth. So far I have 2 quotes and the difference for exactly the same thing was nearly $2000 difference ?? Any one find one particularly cheap...looking for supply and install . Thanks in advance Re: Cheap blinds in Perth 2Apr 26, 2013 12:07 am Hi Tanial81 , Not sure what kind of blinds you are looking for but I live in South Australia and I can highly recommend the following as decent "CHEAP" blinds. IKEA - Roller Holland blinds 100% block-out with pull cord beard rope - 4 years still like new! IKEA - Timber Venitan Bliands - Brilliant - 3 years and still going strong. Bunnings - Alluminium Venitians - 1 yr and all still good. If your windows are a "Standard" size then please at least consider doing one yourself, before wasting money on someone else installing it for you. e.g - try installing the blind in the toilet/bathroom /laundry yourself as a trial. All the best in your hunt, Andrew Re: Cheap blinds in Perth 3Apr 26, 2013 12:57 am Hi We got a quote from ABC Blinds in Rockingham for a house we're building in Baldivis. I thought their prices were pretty good - especially as we got a good deal on a particular blind that was on promo at the time of the quote (they've fixed the quote for us for 1 year, so we can still get those prices when we're ready to get them to come and install after handover). We got quoted on double roller blinds throughout - and they basically worked out at $169 per blind installed for the translucent (the more expensive blind) no matter the size of the window (and some of our windows were huge 28course and wide), and less for the blockout blinds (the less expensive blind). I hope that makes sense. In short, I really think it's not about what place is cheaper, but rather whet specials and promos any blinds company may have on certain products at any given time. You can really only know this by ringing around the various companies and asking about their specials Good Luck!
