They are great for ventilation, but an absolute bugger to close in a hurry when the weather gets wild. I can climb on the furniture to do it, but Carol can't. I'd like to convert the existing casements to Hopper or awning windows using the existing windows. Then I could control them with fanlight controllers. Has anyone done a similar conversion?
