Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Jun 29, 2012 11:55 am Hi All ! We bought some roller blinds while they were on sale at Spotlight. They are just the standard sizes and would not fit our windows but they would be perfect for our windows. Does anyone know if there is any place in Sydney which will resize the blinds for us? I am not sure if we can cut the fabric ourselves at home and still make it look professional ? Thanks ! Cheers Re: Resizing roller blinds anywhere in Sydney ? 4Jul 09, 2012 11:28 am I bought some holland (roller) blinds this weekend and I was told by the spotlight sales assistant that you can easily adjust the width yourself. Simply fully unroll the blind, cut the material with sharp knife or scissors and then cut tin roll with hacksaw to size. - Whallah your Done! I have not yet tried this but will in the next few days. Re: Resizing roller blinds anywhere in Sydney ? 5May 24, 2013 8:15 pm I have managed to cut the Spotlight (Wilson Flores) blinds straight & alter everything, but am having trouble removing the Knob at the bottom of the blind which needs to be taken off the piece I have cut off, and put back onto the remaining blind. Any assistance please anyone? waste of time for us having both, living only need one or the other. Bedroom only needs blockouts in our experience. Somfy RTS seems to be the way to go, speak to… 1 3603 You can put a roller blind behind the shutters. It will be much less noticeable when not in use. 3 17994 |
