Just wanting some advice / opinions on an issue that I have with my window supplier.
I ordered an entire house lot of windows and doors from "Acme windows", The windows and doors and I am very happy with, they look great and are high quality as i expected.
When the windows were delivered to site they had the incorrect reveals, My chippy called me and let me know they were wrong and would need to be resized, I called the office of "Acme" they said they would send someone out, as the sales manager was at a job around the corner whcih had the exact same issue ( 4 attempts at getting the reveals right for this customer). The person on the phone (I have there name) told me to get the chippy to send in an itimized bill for the work and they would provide a credit. I was happy enough with this outcome. I told me Chippy to get on with the job.
Now that I have the invoice for the work, the salesman who I sent the invoice to tells me its not company policy and they are not going to pay.
Dont get me wrong I love the windows but this is leaving me a few thousand out of pocket....
What would you do?
