Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Jun 05, 2012 10:15 pm We have a couple of sealed windows (ie they don't open)in our bedroom and with the strong wind and rain we noticed some water and thought that there must be a leak. Apon closer inspection we noticed that in the bottom of the frame there are two small horizontal holes that appear to let in and out air. We then checked other windows and all windows that have a non-opening section have them too. Is this correct? If so what is the purpose? Or have the wrong frames been fitted? How we noticed them as there was water inside in the frame from the strong storm we just had Re: sealed windows appear to have vent holes 4Jun 11, 2012 11:11 am Our fixed windows don't have them, but they can be used to let water out, just in case it gets into the frame.
