Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Jun 05, 2012 8:31 pm Hi all, Im looking to install some venetian blinds in my living area. Just looking to buy some ready made ones from spotlight. The issues I have with my windows is I have no arcitraves/window frame and my windows are not exactly square. I have looked on websites and they have suggested to install them outside the window frame and to make allowance either side if you don't have arcitraves. What do you all think? If you have any pics of venetians installed outside frame it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Re: Installing Venetian Blinds Outside Window Frame 2Jun 05, 2012 10:39 pm Hi Mook, Although I have archs, the Venetians in the kids' bedrooms are actually from our old house, and they just happened to fit the width of their new bedrooms (except they are just a tad long!). These are fitted to the archs, but are outside the window frame. This is the only pic I have of them and may not be much help... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... You can not hang anything on steel frames. very frustrating 8 9674 Its the flashing and is normal. Some builders cover them up others just leave them handing. You can cover it up with an aluminium bracket or ask the builder. 7 11472 1 14566 |
