Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 May 03, 2012 3:21 pm We recently moved into a relatively new apartment (3 years old) and we have an issue with our window + metal frame in our bedroom making a noise when the sun hits it in the morning. It's one of those full wall glass windows with a metal frame and sliding door.. We don't seem to be having the issue with the other windows in the apartment. Our strata managers informed us that this is our issue. Mp3 to the sound http://doozai.com/Voice005.mp3 Anyone have experience with this? Weird... did you spay the glass both sides where it joins the aluminium? If it is expansion, it is the friction making the noise... spray the joins wherever you can see them, both sides. If that doesn't work, I am out of ideas, as I have never heard this before.
