I have bought $20,000 worth of premium thermal break aluminium windows.
When I received delivery there were numerous problems including scratches, dents and the mitred corners not lining up properly, along with glazing issues.
They did come up and do an assessment and have conceded that they will repair or replace a majority of the problems, however he said to me that he probably won't be able to get the corners to line up because he said the aluminium extrusion has "variations" and even if he replaced the bars they may not line up so there is nothing he can do.
I told him that the showroom example was near perfect and was nothing like what I received or agreed to and he said "we'll of course the showroom one is perfect but what I have supplied you is within tolerances"
I am very unhappy that I have paid such a large amount of money for what I consider to be substandard windows.
What avenues do I have open to me? He won't give a discount, he won't give me my money back and he concedes that he won't be able to get them to showroom quality standard!
