Given the fence was only a metre away from the windows, and the neighbour's house another metre, that was a bit too weird for us. I had a friend who tints car windows come over and install obscure film on the windows. Was quite cheap, and still looks great 6 years on. Powder room and ensuite are in front of the house and facing street. For these areas we are simply using windows with maximum tint and "mirror" effect from the outside. I've checked it - you really cant see anything from the outside, even from half a meter. However it works well only during day-light. During the night-time we'll be using ordinary blinds.
