Just a quick question about max sizes of outward opening awning windows.
We are in the final stages of drawing up plans for our reno and were going to have a set of outward opening bifold windows for our kitchen.
Of all the places I've worked on or plans I've drawn for customers I haven't run into this one before.
I spoke with a couple of local manufacturers who tried to dissuade me from going down this route saying it was going to be too big and stick with bi-folds or a slider.
After seeing sanjha187s kitchen

with large awning window I was wondering if this size (2400 x 1100mm ) was too big for an awning or rather the necessary support arms to hold it the upright position?
Here is ours with bi-folds drawn but I would love just one pane of glass like an awning.

The one thing I don't like with bi-folds is that we would have to rebate a track into the stone servery bench.
Weatherproofing on the bottom is not a problem as the window will pretty much be out of the weather.
I'd love a comment from Ed or any other window manufacturer out there.
