Whether that was because 1) They don't staff it 2) They only staff it on the weekends or 3) It was still really new and they hadn't got around to putting someone there yet, I don't know. I'd 100% say go and have a chat with DG, even if it's too early to get a quote, he'll at least guide you in the right direction, and I always figure the more information you have the better. At least that way, when you talk to your architect YOU'LL have an idea of what you want and will be able to lead him in YOUR direction instead of him just using "Brand X" because "I always use them". We didn't get a price for single-glaze high-performance glass, Rylock was 100% sure that double-glazing was the way to go, both from a cost AND energy-efficiency perspective. With the exception of our two west-facing windows, these he suggests double-glazing with one layer of the high-performance glass. The additional cost of the high-performance glass for these two windows was surprisingly little extra. (Check your PM's) Hope this helps, P_D .
